Wow what a journey!
Since I wrote my first blog post in February 2023, I launched Vivere Hosting with my transformational event for women, "Live Well & Empower", which was so well received I am still pinching myself. I subsequently launched "Live Well & Create" "Like a Pro" Masterclass experiences, hosting award winning creatives and beautiful likeminded humans has been incredibly rewarding and joyous. At my "Live Well & Advance" Summer Solstice Masterclass I set new intentions, and by simply saying yes! I have found myself connecting with incredible entrepreneurs who have shared their journey with me.
I have also this last month spoken with the awe-inspiring accidental activist Davina McCall, where we shared our menopausing experiences, not what I had envisaged doing when attending FT Live (a "Financial Times" event). Then this weekend I attended a Q&A at The Happy Place Festival, with the awesome founder of Happy Place Official, Fearne Cotton, where she answered my question "How important is wellness in the workplace?" If you want to know her answer, take a listen here. One of the things we discussed was what wellness at work looks like, and we agreed it is not bean bags and petting a puppy! In a nutshell, you know when you are doing something for the right reasons, when the law of attraction is working well for you anything is possible.
When I spoke to the guru of wellness who was incredibly complementary about my business idea, she said that having space to have open conversation was what was important, ironically this is exactly what Davina McCall said about what employers need to do to help everyone at work educate themselves about menopausing. Hearing them both talk about the importance of educational days and having open conversation really resonates with me, the reason I launched "Live Well & Empower" for one, plus anyone who knows me or if you have read my last blog post on www.viverehosting.com you will now know, how I wear my heart on my sleeve, it comes naturally to me to share my experiences, I strongly believe it helps us all to connect and grow.
Fearne and I also spoke about how we don't all need fixing, like Jonny Wilkinson had said earlier to her that morning, we need to surrender to our stress. Fearne went on to say that moments at work to inspire people are what is important, and how important it is as adults not to disregard doing something creative for fun! She said creative days are lovely and really important, how for example jewellery making made her feel calm. Again, it is not just coincidence that just last week I had connected with a fabulous jewellery maker and planned our jewellery making masterclass for the 1st September! Hearing both Jonny and Fearne speak in the way that they did about the importance of taking time out to be creative means so much to me. Fearne congratulating me, and telling me to keep on doing what I am doing as it is really brilliant, receiving incredible client testimonials every step of the way, has given me the confidence to continue with my journey, to speak out about it, and to continue saying yes!
Remember we all have so much to give, being kind to ourselves and others, and taking time to be creative is needed for both our mind and soul, we only live one life, live it well! Love Lou X
